Decided to run the car, glad I did. IMO its was a dumb idea, but at least I can say I did it.

RE: Nasty 1/10 scale on-road cars using .21 or larger engines....come inside
Hi guys I know I shouldn't be In Here being an E Monster truck kinda fan but I have a ? about an hpi rs4 super nitro My boss built one last year and dumped well over $1500 into it I don't know much about nitro but he took the best of everything he could find and put it on this car it is nowhere near stock it was clocked at 102 mph. He has a titanium chassis on it some big ***** pretty motor and exhaust on it. I guess my question is how much is one of these car even worth. He's in a pinch and bought some air compressors for his old Chevy without the wife knowing he told me $200 I get the car the radio and everything else I need to start it. He said it comes with a starter box? Like I said I don't know anything nitro nor do I care to know a lot I just feel I could flip this thing if its worth it. Any and all advise will be more then helpful thanks in advance and happy bashing :-)

Hea guys, just finished up a redcat 10Th scale tornado buggy chassis with a Dynamite mach 2 .26 big block engine. Everything is mounted and sorted out. We have a out law 10Th scale with .21 to .28 big block home built conversion class. After seeing them run I was hooked and built my own car. Everyone runs either a exceed or redcat 10Th scale buggy chassis that hold up well with the small block clutch bell and 3 shoe big block clutch and two speed trans. All metal and all stock. Those buggy's will out run a 1/8Th scale with a .28 engine hands down. 4.6 lbs dry with anywhere from 2.5 to 3.6 hp engines, compared to 7.5 lb 8Th scale some up to 12 lbs. Tomorrow I will break in the engine and get it ready to compete after tech inspection. Try to qualify and be competitive next Saturday race day. I will be running a 2.4ghz with the 8AA battery set up radio. Aluminum adjustable shocks, with 30 weight oil, stock gears and breaks. I hope I have enough to at least qualify. All the best. I am not trying to hi jack your post sorry, I get carried a way.
All the best!

Bodyshell for my 16.5cc speed car just out of the mold and with a quick trim
A bit of filling and sanding is required before painting

WOW! you got your 10th scale car to handle a big block with full power?? I am amazed that you have the talent to achieve such a goal. Probably only a hand full of guys that could an pull this off. I am not trying to hi-jack your post, but I built a 10th scale buggy with a big block, I cannot get it to run wide open without wheelies. maybe if I cut and extend the chassis a couple inches or so?? might do the trick. I tip my hat to you man for your accomplishment! impressive to say the least.

Yup. Still building them. Just rebuilt my ISC big block car to run shorter distances. Also recently acquired another racer2 and super nitro, both with 21s.

I put her away after a bad accident. Hit a telephone box along side a road around 75mph. You guys have inspired me to bring her back and go for the 100club. Had to rebuild her with a new chassis. Power isn't the issue with this car, it's the chassis, plastic parts etc. It's really a personal goal to hit 100 with a car (HPI R3 evo 2nd Gen non ss) made to go 45...lol. I've been told by hatters it can't be done....we'll see
Anyways,
Its got a new Lamberto Colari .21 Nova and some gearing. Where can I grab some tall tires anyone?

It's an iPhone. I guess it won't rotate the picture to the right side up like it usually does.

Car-Tune, thats a sweet ride. I'd thought about using helium in my wheels too to cut down some of the rotating mass as well but couldnt get it to stay in. Anti gravity is correct. Kidding buddy.
