Was looking at that NH. I was building an electric tc3 and considered that ofna for its diffs but sold it. Didn't want to deal with electric. Besides, I have my xo1 killer now so no need to build it. ;-)

wow, there's still those "nasty" little cars out running I see. I still have my car as well but not much running lately at all.
Anyways, glad to see these cars and ideas are still floating around. I've got a new engine that will definately outrun my old Kangaroo stuff and what a ride that be......aint but one way to find out hugh?

Hey everyone. Man I'd love to live in the sunshine state of Florida but my job keeps me here in cold DC area.
Surpisingly I've been able to get the 35Plus21 engine to scream harder than the reliable Kangaroo engines.
I won the 2013 IMDRA National Championship:
2 each first place National wins
1 each second place National runner up
1 each concourse National win
Reset the National MPH record from 88.1 set back in 2010 to 92.1
Reset the National ET record from 1.565 set in 2012 to 1.511
Ran a personal best ET of 1.503 which is also the quickest pass in IMDRA history for a Nitro Funny Car
Ran a personal best MPH of 93.3 which is also the fastes pass in IMDRA history for a Nitro Funny Car
I've even got some new HP for 2014. I love this sport.

Whats up fellas??
Happy 2014! Anyone working on any new projects for the New Year?? I am slowly modding up a Stock RTR Rs4 3 Evo Chassis with a OS 26C 4 stroke, having a local guy machine some new gears and converting the stock 2spd tranny from an RS4 into a 3spd
If that doesn't pan out I was thinking of maybe using a Summit 2spd.. Moving kinda slow atm but its getting there!
I'll get some build pictures up soon

I used Losi's 21/26 pinion on my HPI RS4. Worked great but I just havent gotten int up to speed. The Spurs had to be 37/41 for it to mesh right.
Here are some vids, oh and I have a carbon fiber chassis on it too

Nice I am looking into different Manf and combos now but I think the end result is going to be just having some custom gears machined at the local machine shop. A buddy of mine owns it so its not like its going to cost me a fortune to have done, maybe a few beers and some dinner! LOL
I should have the gear sets back in a few weeks so i'll update again as soon as I can move things further along. At least the OS 26c is running nice and smooth..

Brent, those are some impressive numbers. Congrats on setting all those new speeds and times.
As far as projects, I just been redoing my original 2009 ISC car with some other goodies. Still a 2- power plant but I think it works for it. Everything seems to be holding up well and it has a bit more left to pull. Also have my twin cylinder FG which I'll be finally be testing this week in a wide open road. Hoping to get pass the 112 we already accomplished in a short run. Here's a little something of my ISC car.

Say GT100, what is your opinion of the new 38cc-40cc gas motors on the market?? Do you think they would make a good power plant for a 4wd 1/5 scale attemping a speed run??

Although RPM might be down, I think HP might be insane. So on a 4wd plant, it should work quite well.
