We use the single speed shaft which is the same size as the assemble that goes on the jato. A little modding and you can use revo gears on it. Just use the same bearing that's used on the jato. We were also blowing thru 2 speeds because that little finger clutch wasn't enough for the 21s so we just kept everything single.

What part do you break? I've once broken that little thing that pops out when the second gear kicks in. I'm using Losi's 2 speed clutchbell 19/26t and works great the only adjustment you have to do is change one of the spurs out. You can't use 37/41, you have to use 37/43. There's a big difference in size from 1st to 2nd.

That's the part that I've broken. It's the clutch cam that I've seem to always snap. I've also used the losi bell and its been worse. Since there's such a large gap between 1st and 2nd, the shift Is more violent. Which motor do you use? I'm running 21s.

Ported .18tz. To keep from snapping that part make shifting at high rpm where there's less torque.

Hey guys, been a long time since I been in this hobby but looking to get back into it. Sold everything else except my Schumacher Fusion21. Car is far from what it originally was out the box several years ago. I am behind on all the new stuff that has come to RC. Last time I ran it was 2010 I think. Need to get a new battery pack and a set of gears to replace the 3rd gear that a rocks keep on shredding. Here's some pics. It is dusty from sitting so ignore that for now.

You have Wolfgangs 1/8 scale tire adapters on your Fusion , those are rare!! Take care of them because I don't believe Wolfgang is making them any more.

Oh yea, with that RB on there, there is no way that it will hook up without those wide rear tires. But now I see Xceed makes 1/10 scale 40mm wheels for the rear. Remember years ago you had gotten the wolfpack chassis and then showed us on the schumacher forum and then I got one? Do you still have yours? What is an alternative option for replacing the steel cvds if I ever need to? The ones from schumacher can only be brought over seas now.

Oh man that sucks big time. I'm getting into 1/5th as well. Looking at getting one sometime this year, most likely off road.

I like my 1/5 scale because the fuel I use for it only cost $4.00 a gallon vs $30.00 a gallon for nitro fuel.

Wow. A fusion. I haven't seen one of those in years. I remember that one from way back when. Clean it up a bit and you're gold. I got lucky with those adapters. I actually have 4 sets sitting around waiting on project and recently sold one.

I've run the tm928 in my evo3... took it out a day later.
I hope you have spare parts because you're going to be snapping tons of axles.
Ran it for a total of 2 hours and went through 3 pairs of rear axles, there is just too much torque for small axles and the ones in the fusion don't look that big.

NH5300, I agree its a much bigger saving as far as gas goes and I've noticed with some of the large scales, the parts are nearly the same price as a parts for a high grade 1/8th scale kit suck as a Mugen.

Gt100, It's cleaner now than it was. Will get some updated pics. Do you have any adapters that let you run the new style of 1/8th on road wheels? The ones I have were made to run the old serpent 950r wheels since I have quite a bit of spare sets in the stash.

Fdjizm, that is alot of money in torn up axles in that little bit amount of time. I have went through a few diffs and a belt and 1 axle was damaged due to it coming apart( even with loc-tite). Really wish the 235mm class of cars were still in production. Those were my favorite on road cars especially the Serpent 835. I'd stick a BB on one of those cars and it would hold up better I believe.

Finally moved the pipe back to the side and made a new wire mount for it. Barely clears the front wheel from it rubbing against it when turning. Still could use a good cleaning but most of whats on the chassis is pollen and foam tire build up. Switched the rear wheels also. Will give it another run this week hopefully.

the ones I sold were the same ones you have. The ones I kept are all the last ones which the part that goes into the wheel is just straight up and down. Doesn't have the 3 spokes, just 2.

I just stripped out a wide rear wheel adapter lug nut tonight, Any chance there is a way I can get another? Is wolf still around doing the rc stuff? I cant run the car without those wide rear tires on it. Its far too much power with out having them on.
