If you want to rally convert your rs4 3 it will take some work, you need to file soem aprts on the suspension to get more down travel, get super nitro rally shock towers and shocks and a set of rally tires. SNR arms will fit but there much longer and would require you to get new drive shafts and new upper turnbucks and a 300mm snr body and if you get an snr body you need snr wheels because there bigger or it will just look stupid with tiny wheels on a big body

you don't need different arms, you need new shock towers and shocks and filedown the front c hubs for more down travel. i did that once and had my rs4 3 sitting near 1" under it

that is pretty slick, reason im asking is i plan on gettting an Inferno GT thursday, but all the wheel/body options for 1/10 make me want one of that scale, the GT only has 3 body styles and the only place that carries scale bodies in 1/8 scale is in italy shipping is like 60 bucks but for 1-10 bodies. Does anyone make an off raod tire for 1/10?

Im a new RS4 3 Evo Owner. Heres my chassis I brought for $50 USD! I just cleaned it today. Did I get a deal or what?
The wheels are just junkies. They will be replaced real soon.

All cleaned out with Warm Soap and water. I'll update once the UPS truck gives me my stuff next week.

Whats a good motor for around 100 buks? What would you recomend?

FeintMotion, regarding your search for an engine around $100, an and O.S. .18CV-RX
http://www.acehardwarehobbies.com/2....oducts_id=8879
$99.99 at ace hardware hobbies. $10 chaeper than from towerhobbies but its your call, if i ever manage to completely kill mine i'll replace it with that, it should be failry powerful and reliable, if your not happy with the power,do some porting

I like the .18 CV-R. If you can get a bump start for your car get the CV-R instead of the CV-RX. A lot less headache if you plan on messing with gear ratios.

here's a video while it was still being broke in (hense the smoke ploom) and red pinions with stock spurs

churchrvb, leak at that orange o-ring in the tank, when ig ot my new tank it did the same thing and i couldnt figure out why it wouldnt go up, then i figured it out, if thats the case, you cant repalce the o-ring, you just gotta get a new tank, take the pressure line off the pipe and blow into it to bring the fuel to the carb

Does anyone know of a good throttle mod for the rs4 using a rotory carb? I'm trying to have the throttle open at 1mm at idle with the brake not engaged, but that only leaves me a half mm to reverse and close the throttle while engaging the brake. This of course only engages the brake lightly. I figure it may be possible to add a washer or two between each screw head and the outer brake pad shoe to minimize the amount of movement needed to apply firm braking pressure, but I would really like something like what the 4-tec has with the springs.... kinda like the Savage throttle mod. Does anyone know of a thread or anything that would pertain to this type of mod? Please help, I'm getting real frustrated spending half an hour each time getting everything tuned right with the throttle and brake only for poor results. Suggestions please [&o][:@][]

here are the things you will need to do (i had this problem exactly)
-set idle screw correctly (open 1.5-2mm)
-set servo EPA's accordingly
-play with linkage length until it works, also that little screw nut thing at the end of the braking shaft can be adjusted
