It comes with good upgrades. It is a definite must buy. I would buy it but I have enough rc cars already. I have bought single engines that cost more than that whole car. My suggestion is for you to get it asap before it is gone.

That's a clean looking car Red, I like the way you kept part of the rear lid clear.

Will be working on some fender flares as I'm really hooked on the S.Nitro tyres.

Thanks GYNAIKAS and Fieroboy.

Fieroboy, if that body has a lot of flex at the windshield, you might consider adding a 5th body post for support in that area. Serpent does that with their 720 car. You'll have to modify it yourself, but would be worth the effort.

(Hot Bodies F-50 GT1......circa 1996, long discontined)

HPI S7R with Vantage Carbon Fiber wing.
HB 4mm milled chassis
HB Carbon deck
HB CVD F,R,Center
Stock 12SS engine (have HPI 12RSC, a NovaRossi with HPI badge, waiting to go in, but stock engine will not wear out!)
GPM Carbon brake disk
GPM light flywheel
S9350 Digital Steering
BLS451 Brushless throttle
K&N
HPI carbon shock towers
HPI F/R sway bars (note, these are not very effective, too much slop in the system to work properly)
RD Logics Turbo II pipe........(was running a cheap Duratrax pipe previously, and that had great top end, Tower for $20 bucks, FYI)
Car has a tendency to be heavy on the right side (engine side of chassis is heavier), handling can be improved by shifting battery weight as far left as you can get it.

HPI swaybars, just add weight to the car....they do nothing to limit body roll....even without shocks on, you move one arm all the way up, the other side doesn't even move!

Light flywheel, good item to buy. Holes are vented at an angle, so it helps cool the cluch too, stock cast flywheel ia heavy, light flywheel engine spools up much faster.

Any fiber brake will upgrade the stock plastic one.

Both pipe are good, The Duratrax is half the price. Also depends on which RD pipe you pick, and which Duratrax pipe you pick. Your tuning, fuel, plug (running O.S. A5) Redalert 20%, and running area. The cheaper Duratrax pipe you can experiment with changing the tunning lenth, by cutting the stock header and adjusting the length of the header for more bottom end, etc. Can't do that with the RD with sping coupler.

The Duratrax model I bought, I no longer see on the website, might be discontinued. My friend has the Streetforce GP pipe, decent results with that pipe ($18) as well as the Associated NTC3 pipe, stock is "torque tuned" and works very well....also available in "RPM tuned" but haven't tried it.

MY RD pipe is the Turbo II outlaw (larger exhaust stinger) and works very well, but cost twice as much.

Red I have no problem with body flex, I was referring to the tires as they protrude beyond the fenders by about an 1/8". I use 1 purple s.bar in the rear as my chassis is 1/2" off the ground due to the larger diameter of the wheels, I really didn't notice much diff in handling but then again I'm still breaking in the O.S .18 CV-RX.

WOW!!! First of all...sway bars don't lift the other side...they reduce its tension. So they work and they're not crap. And pipe always has to be chosen wisely. What engine do you use? What are your power needs and at what rpm range? And "hello" you can't just recomend a pipe cause you like it! If I recomend my pipe for a car with a .15 engine the result will be crap.

Hey G...I got a ? for ya. Does anyone make h.duty d.bones like the MT2 for the RS4 Evo? I Know the bone to the rear diff fits from an MT2, because I'm using one. I don't beat on my car but I know that if I did they will snap.

Hey Fieroboy, I don't know about heavy duty dog bones but you can get this. It's cheap and it works fine. It is a complete set for the rs4. I personally ran my rc car with a big block engine in it and I used heavy duty diff cups for my drivetrain with stock dog bones. It works fine until recently when I hit something and one of them snap. other than that, it works fine.
