Default Winch on a nitro?

Why? Cause I wanted one... Also I'm modding my 1/10th truck to look like my full sized F150. I figured I could just hook up a spare 4xAA cell box and use the button but that doesnt work so do I need a 7.2 and regulators and other stuff? Any simple ways of getting it to work with my nitro?

Thanks.

How about a small 6 cell battery pack? It doesn't have to be a sub c size pack if you're just running a winch off it.

Could grab a RC4WD winch and power it off the reciever if you have an extra Channel available.

that winch requires a seperate power source....means a y harness or another battery.
