Body For RS10
Hey, i'm looking for a nice body for an RS10, that i don't have to chop the hell out of, so kinda something scale looking. Here's a few ideas i had but am unsure of the fit ETC., any thoughts?
1992 Pro-line Jeep Cherokee Body
1/10th scale Crawlers- http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXZUB2&P=7
T/Emaxx- http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBXMG&P=7
Which of those two will work better?
OR
Axial Honcho Body With Cage

OR

RE: Body For RS10
You have a couple of options with putting a scale looking body on a RS10. Option #1 - mount the body to where it sits normal, then chop the hell out of it so the tires don't rub. Option #2 - raise the body up super high so that rubbing it eliminated, but you can avoid cutting the body up. The downside to option #2 is that your center of gravity will raise a lot and your rig will be prone to rolling over easily. Option #3 - buy or build a ladder style scaler chassis, buy 1.9 wheels and tires, buy a scaler body, etc... and make it into a "scaler". A RS10, by design, isn't easy to make into a scaler. If you choose option 3, you'd be better off just buying a scx10.

another option:
add frame rails to your RS10 with cheap alloy angle. Then mount the shocks to them (more upright) and this will limit the flex to an amount like you would have on a axial scx10. this will allow you to mount a common crawler body without having tons of body rub or having to chop the crap out of the wheel wells.
last option, custom torsion chassis, like i did to a rs10. axial dingo body mounted to it
