need help to find right bumper for scx10
OK
so i have a basically stock scx10 chassis,,,
with a RC4WD lexan yota hilux body.
this body extends about 2 inches past the rear of the chassis.
so, any rear bumper that could work needs posts that are 2.25 inches long.
The longest I could find is one of the rc4wd bumpers....but its only 1.9 inches!
Any ideas?

get the rc4wd bumper you like and weld/braze some extension onto it, then bolt it to your chassis

is it the Tough Armor Rear Bumper u have been eyeing off?
if so u could make up a extension bracket.
it would just have to get a bit of steel, that fits inside the chassis channel, then drill a hole to secure it, then attach the bumper to that with 2 screws,
u wouldent need anything fancy because the bumper mount holes are elongated so the adjustment can be made from the bumper to the extension bracket
so basickly u need to copy the mounting legs
