Default lipo battery for crawler

I have the bta steering kit. I am wondering if anyone using the same can tell me what lipo battery they are using. and hopfully something with some decent Mah. Size looks to be 2 3/4" long and about 2" wide. Thanks.

I've been looking at ones like [link=http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=18634]this one[/link] and wondered about these [link=http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=24202]saddle packs[/link]. I'd probably go for the ones in the first link, the 1600mah and buy a maybe 3 of them. If I could find a higher mah it would be better.

I used a small Maxamps pack for my AX10 with axle mount kit. This is the pack I used www.maxamps.com/proddetail.phpand even at 2000mah had plenty of run time for mine.

Thanks jeepy. I actually ordered the saddle packs from the link in my one post. They should fit fine....... But I will keep those max amps in mind as well for the future. $44 is a little more than I want to spend also. The saddle packs were like $25 plus shipping.

I assume that a 5000 lipo will give me more run time than a 5000 nimh.??????? See I also have 4WS so I can drain a battery pretty quick sometimes.

BTW....... Got my saddle packs in the mail. I had to solder up some longer wires to go in the ax10. But fit is fine. Went out for a crawl yesterday and got 1 1/2 hours and still tons of time left I'm sure.
