Looking at yours I think I see the issue with my 6X6 my rear axle has a hell of a lot more travel, and that is where it gets dislodged

One question are the metal links custom made or pre-made?

ahh ok just was wondering I have a project that pretty much came to a grinding halt as I've not been able to find links(well a few other parts too, but the links are the main issue) to hold the rear axle on.

Wonder if I could just find a grab bag of crawler links

prolly be alot cheaper to buy some brake line and some ready rod and make your own links. i tore apart two trucks to build this plus i had a surplus of links to throw at it.

These are older pics... but brake line and t-rod works well syco. I redid my sons W.K. all over with new links... I had some to spare to I made front and rear bumpers as well.

size brake line? 1/4" T-rod I think is 6/32" I found it made things easier to ream your rod ends a little bit to thread in the rod.

Hey SyCo,
I make all my own links, never done the brake line set up. However I do have a box full of axial alloy links. If you figure out what you need for your 6x6 I would be happy to send you some if I have what you need. I can also custom machine you anything out of T6 6061 Aluminum solid rod in any size/diameter in round or square. just let me know.
Happy trails,
Jay
