Default Back into crawling

I left the fun of crawling to enjoy the fun of watercrafts but I live in Colorado and our lakes are frozen for a good portion of the year. Anyway, here's the build I just finished.

Venom Safari Creeper
Tekin FXR
Tekin 35t
Stock servos (I know, they suck)
Stock Tires and Bead locks.
1980 Chevy K5 Blazer (proline)

I picked this up for a steal off the market place and put my own touch on it. I swapped things around so that the dig unit, which is stock, works like a transfer case, engaged it has 4x4 and disengaged its only rear wheel drive. I love this thing. Let me know what you think!!

Think I would remake the links to correct the wheelbase.

I did after looking at these pictures again, it corrected it quite a bit. I also built better frame rails, the stock ones were plastic so I used some steel plate, see attached picture.

Here's a second Creeper I have started working on. Same as the Blazer, it will have custom made frame rails.

Not yet, we have snow all over the place here in CO, it is water proof but I hate being outside when it's cold.

The Blazer body wasn't cutting it, too much tire rub and other then hacking up the body, there wasn't much I could do. I modified a SCX10 Honcho body to make it fit, I like it, what do you think?

Thumbs up

I've always been a sucker for a creeper. Prbly always will be. I made a purdy wicked scaler outta mine some 6 yrs ago. Dudes thought i'd bumped my head! I made rails for mine too. Kinda have to, even now. Venom's idea of a "scale chassis" is somewhat laughable. Initially, i thought you'd wind up using that dig, well, as a dig. But if your still able to unlock that front diff, then she'll turn alot sharper for your rear wheel running. Great idea! keep it up dude, I DIG IT! P.S. Here's a pic of a pic of my old venom. Sorry it sux,its all i got left.
