Default Exceed mad torque owners

I just bought a mad torque and I want to know what upgrades I should do out of box. And what bodies fit it. I do not like the stock body.

I'd love to know where you can even buy any parts. Four wheel steering is the first upgrade I would do, but I can't find any parts for it. Is this a clone of another crawler?

Cody, any body that has a wheelbase close to what your machine has can be made to fit. Not having one myself, I can't recommend a specific body, but if you go to Pro-Line Racing - Racing to Bring You the Best RC Bodies & More! and look through the specs on their bodies, I'm sure you can find one that's close.

Have a look at HSP's 1/8 crawlers for body options?

I gave up, at the moment, on trying to keep up with OEM stuff. I could be way off, but HSP sticks in my head as a possible maker of some of Exceed's and Redcat's stuff.

Hey Rusty.

You had duratrax evaders right? I think I bought a topshaft off you a few months ago on Ebay.

Have you checked www.nitrorcx.com . I believe that most of exceeds vehicles are actually HSP vehicles that have been rebadged. You should be able to find pretty much any part you're looking for on NitroRCX but if they're out of stock on something you can get the part numbers and look them up on eBay and Amazon as well

That be me . I got craploads of spare parts for my ST. I use the Brushless Evader top shaft/slipper setup now.

Back on track with OP... having a fully stocked local hobby shop is a great place to go and match up other manufacturer's parts to possibly modify for use on one's RC car.
