Redcat Everest-16 Motor Upgrade Suggestions?
Hi gang,
I've been searching for a while now but I not terribly knowledgeable on this RC stuff so that might be why I'm hitting a dead end.
The motor in my Everest-16 died and I'd like to upgrade it, if possible. I'd be open to inexpensive brushless system upgrades (say under $65) or a better brushed motor. I'm not looking to do any drilling or refabrication but I can if a certain product really makes it worthwhile.
The stock motor is Redcat 98050, RC-260, and is supposedly 96t with a 14t gear.
Suggestions please.

Best suggestion can give is take the motor to a local hobby shop or Hobbytown, and compare to what they have. I don't know Redcat, so I don't know if it's a 540 or 550 motor. Good luck finding a brushless motor under $65 that won't crap out.
