In theory, a crawler shouldn't be able to go fast enough to fly. But, with the right mix of terrain and speed anything is possible. I guess carnage will depend largely on what the truck was built with and of course the speed upon impact. I whopped my TTR Ripper today directly on the front bumper, no damage...[&:] Kind of nerve wracking, it almost fell in the ditch![X(]

to ur question, u can jump it if u want, if its a good crawler it wont go fast and it should be pretty beefy so if u liek jumps at walking speed....then go for it

If it's a good crawler, it wont jump. Crawlers by definition are S L O W. You need a bit of pep to get up obstacles, but jumping is not part of the equation.

I've decided to get a T-maxx instead of a Max Climber since I have a big yard that isn't mine (which means I can't put rocks and stuff on it).
Thank you for the info. I appreciate it.

I'd have to agree that crawlers don't jump. They'll fall, tumble, roll, drop, twist, crunch, roll, etc... Basically, they'll take a beating. One outing and a new body is beat-up. My Gecko II runs 19 turn reedy motors and gear reductions. Top speed is slower than a walk.
BTW, I don't know that an E-Maxx has enough clearance/articulation to be a true crawler.

every one says that this truck is bad at crawling cause it lacks flex or ground clearence. while these qualities are nice i have a jeep tj that can flex a 836 on a rti ramp with 32s and open diffs and hve seen a old 4runner with flex of like 400 and 30s that had a clse to stock ride height and locked front and rear diffs do every thing i did on that trail he banged a body alot more ber he still made it so flex and cleance help a lot but traction is key.
