Default RE: homebuild!

I had one of those Radioshack twin engine monster trucks laying around that I fried(driving in snow) SO I said what the heck and tore out the stock ESC/RX board and the crummy step servo. I replaced it all with an Airtronics servo, TEKIN Titan ESC and a TEKIN Chrome FM Receiver. I also took off the stock friction shocks and mounted some Team Losi Oils. Gave it a lot more travel and it handles tons better. I'm thinking about replacing the stock motors with 2 540 stockers and lowering the gearing a little. The body that's on it is my thrasher, I have another just like it only with all the pieces intact. What do you guys think?
