RE: WOOHOO, my new TLT!
I will, but I've been having too much time terrorizing the dog and the cat with it
How am I supposed to adjust the center diff without tearin the truck apart?
pic of the electronics installed, and yes, that same 1/18 Nylint gave up its battery pack so this sucker could run:P I haven't burned up a whole pack yet.

RE: WOOHOO, my new TLT!
hey, about the center diff, just pull it apart once, undo the diff and remove the bearings. then pull out the metal shims that go in between the bearings and the outshafts. Then put hotglue in between both sides and put it together quickly. This will lock it and allow you to undo it if you want to. Handles and crawls much better than with it unlocked, trust me. (oh, and save the bearings)

RE: WOOHOO, my new TLT!
thanks yz.
I tightened the hell outta the diff, but I think all that accomplished was stripping out the nut. oops:P
I've got a Tamiya Sport Tuned black-can motor on the way with a Tamiya ESC. $15 total, lol. it'll keep me from "wasting" my LRP F1 Pro on a silver can, so it can go back into my 11t F1 car
I'll get crackin on fabricating something whenever I get up to the LHS to grab my materials. knowing me, it'll probably look great, but probably work like crap, LOL.
Oh, almost forgot to mention. I got a whole spare RC10B2 for parts for my old B2, and now I have a whole transmission...complete with a worn out diff that's now locked
2.4:1 ratio, but can't beat free! and it came with dogbones too, which just so happen to fit into the TLT axle's drivecups

RE: WOOHOO, my new TLT!
Mine's still stock. I haven't done anything to it but drive the crap out of it and lock the center diff so far.
I think i'll be running the old B2 transmission and such...haven't figured out exactly what i want from it, but i know i want a wheelbase of AROUND 12-12.5". I'll probably be running Masher 2000s, since I have a set, and I'm definitely investing in a waterproof ESC since I wanna drive this sucker down into the creek behind my house, and then drive it out, too:P
I've thought about building a tuber, but I think a scale crawler would suit me a little better...still not sure though.
BTW, i'm shocked...even driving through grass, that 650mAh Nylint "crawler" pack runs for about 10-15 minutes.
