What parts needed?
Well I have a question for all that are into crawlin. Well a few. What is one part of building a rig that you find the hardest?, Parts you would like to have or like to make but cant find them? and would you buy a real RC crawler in RTR or would a Kit be better?

You can't compare an RTR crawler (nylint) to a hobby grade crawler made from a clod, tlt or something like that. RTR's suck, well they are good for a 6 year old I guess. IMO

I dont think there is a crawl ready RTR. I'd pick up a tlt form ultimatehobbies.com(80 dollars) and some radio equipment off ebay. Buy a chassis. Go to rccrawler.com and there are a ton of chassis' there. And you need driveshafts. Better tires(moabs). Errrrrr......thats about it. Check out the RBX laydown chassis and the P4.

if a "hobby grade" kit was for sale i'de buy one or two and so would half the people on this site.
its cool to build your own rig but its a pain in the butt sometimes.
i've built many rigs and i love building BUT...... buying a RTR rig would be tight and i see one coming in the future.
