Default super rooster

my uncle got a clod buster in hopes to turn it into a rock crawler and i had a few questions....1.will the super rooster speed control he baught work with two 65 turn lathe motors? 2. i want to see some custom clod crawler pics to see how i can desine it....3.and what mayerials will i need to complete it (i want to do a 4 link set up) and how will i make the suspension links... thanks, you crawler guys are the most helpfull, and any reply will be apreciated...

The Super Rooster should be fine with the 65 turns. Here are some pix of my old Clod crawler. Almost everything on it was from Thunder Tech Racing ( www.thundertechracing.com ) Hope this helps a little bit

No problem. TTR's servo mounts seem to be really good also. They're made from carbon fiber. I attached close-up (sort of) pix of it.

thats pretty cool i whant to build somethin like that but a little closer to the gecko chassis.... yours is awsome stilll.........

^^^ after seeing those mudding pics in the other thread, that stick is one of my favorite crawlers i've seen. I wish tlt axles were bigger so i could put clod tires on, but it would look funky.

ya the stick crawler is cool i turned my nylint 1/18 into one it worked good and i put 2.2 tires on it... i want to make a 4 link so can some body give me the size that the frame should be im going to use ABS plastic, this stuff is like 4 mm thick its strong....

I am amazed at how good it crawls.....up and down stairs....up and over a milk crate(11X11X13)....i'm also running the super rooster esc (love it) with 55 turn lathe motors and stock gearing.......You will be very happy with the super rooster esc, it is so smoooooooth.

Here is one i just finished.

It is basically 2 identical peices of steel mounted with about a 3-4 inch gap in between to make room for the battery and elecs nothing fancy but it works really well. O yea and it has about 16-17 inch wheelbase

average is around 6 - 8" long... mine are 6.5 - 7 or so...
