I shot some video today (should be up soon) and here are a few stills from the event. keep in mind this video was shot with PLASTIC tires because the mailman is taking his time bringing me the rubber ones so grip was non-existant. was still a lot of fun tho...

First, I want to say great job and well done. She is a beauty. By the way dose she have a sister?[8D]
Second if you dont mind I would like to ask you a couple of questions.
I have been looking to do something like this for quite some time and seeing you machine has jump started my entusaim agian.
1. Did the super slick axles need a lot of work of did they take the torque well enoufgh stock?
2.Also is it the stock frame & Drive trane with a servo gearbox replacing the motor or did you scratch build the frame right in to the body of the model?
3.Did i see corectly that you used a type of torsin bar to spring the axles ie the wire going from the frame to the "brake caliper" or did you put springs in your shocks?
Thank you very much.
And I apreciate you assistance

Jeepin
if you look around you can find a picture of the super slicks truck. it was 1/43? scale "I think" toys r us sold them for a while but the axles would break if you crashed ie its not really ment for speed. so it wasent that great of a thing for kids. Wait im a kid deep down inside too. lol. for that reayson as well as those who have them tend to keep them, they are hard to find just watch ebay but be carefull because the new super slick truck has a different frame and you can not make anyting close to the piece of art that cobracutoms made. the new one is closer to an xmod.
Thats just my 2 bits if and rember
The hard facts are best told straight foward and with a smile on your face.

I've been watching 1:1 scale Jeeps at Moab and your RC Jeep vid looks just like 1:1 at Moab.
Great work, that truely is a work of art.
Nice thing about smaller scale is that all the trails and places to run magically become bigger.
Congratulations on a job well done and keep us posted.
