I havent noticed that happening... is there a lot of slop in the rear links? some people have converted their rear links to a setup similar to the AX-10....Seems a pretty simple solution to me, and is what Ill be doing if i find it to be a problem...

RE: OFFICIAL WHEELY KING CRAWLER THREAD
Does anyone know if there is a company that makes a tuber frame for the WK?
Also, can someone explain "droop" suspension? The definition, reason, and results please. Thanks.

Wolf, some people are using Tamiya Stays but my rod ends require something bigger, so I used 1/2" aluminum u-channel you can get at your local hardware or home improvement center.

RE: OFFICIAL WHEELY KING CRAWLER THREAD
I have been reading through these forums, but I guess I'm just not getting it, I have a new wheely king, How do i get the battery to mount up front? I've read about reversing the chassis, but I'm a simplton and I don't understand how to do it. Can someone please elaborate on that for me, and even some pics would be better. thank you in advance

RE: OFFICIAL WHEELY KING CRAWLER THREAD
the simplest way would be to buy an axle mounted steering servo mount, take the steering locking stuff off the REAR axle and put it on the front. Follow the instruction on the axle servo mount to mount it, take the steering servo out of the chassis and put it on the axle, then reverse the motor wires so forward is forward, and you are done.

RE: OFFICIAL WHEELY KING CRAWLER THREAD
I want to turn my WK into a tuber. Is this a good enough set up for backyard bashing? The TCS Edge chassis and then using the Axial AX10 Locked Transmission Set #AX30487.
Will it work without too much fuss?

RE: OFFICIAL WHEELY KING CRAWLER THREAD
what would be a good motor for my king. i dont want it to be so slow that it takes forever to drive between obstacles but at the same time, i dont want it to overheat because of not enough torque. what would be a good motor to get? preferrably under $30
