Default 1/8th rock crawler

Do you guys think there is a market for a high quality 1/8th electric rock crawler?

It seems to me that most crawler fans get the biggest kick out of making thier own conversions from thier own design.

I am going to do a conversion on a kyosho Madforce with a view to making a complete kit i reckon retail will be approx £430.00

any opinons?

Nothing wrong with that idea. It does seem that the smaller scale 2.2 class is more popular, at least in the US. The reason usually being that it's easier to find terrain suitable to a smaller crawler than the bigger Super class (1/8 scale) crawlers.

The hardcore crawler types will always prefer to build/design their own rig and they will always be the cornerstone of this hobby. But RTR or at least mass-produced kits are what will expand this hobby into the mainstream.

I would never pay $850 for a rock crawler, especially not for one without electronics. If you want to sell these consider selling just the chassis, links, ect: everything except the donor rig, with a complete kit as an option.
