I've searched and searched for a thread on the new Summit by Traxxas.

I love my crawlers now but was wondering if this was a good investment ($515)?

I have an Axial, Clod, a Wheely King, and a Micro Losi Crawler. Is this a worthwhile investment or a 'meh' kinda thing?

I don't have one personally but have some opinions based on what I have read about it. Being fully independent makes it not a prime choice for a rock crawler. It top speed is a little on the slow side which would make it a terrible basher racer. Might make a fair trail vehicle though.

Only two things I find attractive...the good body would make a decent scaler and the remote locking differential mechanism (if it can be used for a scale rig, maybe in the 1/5 1/6 scale).
