Mirco Magic Racing Yachts -
Are there any Mico Magicfans viewing this forum? I have been reading about these great boats and have just purchased several kits. I was able to buy these boats, at a reduced price, but had to purchase the lot of 3kitsin order to get the discounted pricing.
I am selling one of the kits, and keeping two from my own use. If anyone is interested in getting a super deal on one of these terrific boats, check out my ad in the sailboat section of the for sale section. I also have the servos, for it, and a few other performance options.
I am surprised that there are not active threads on this boat. It is the fastest growing AMYA Class with over 6000 boats sailing around the world. They are huge in Germany, the UK and France. They are really starting to catch on here in the US as well.
There are number of MM fans over at the RCgroups.com forum, so if you are interested in learning more about these great boats stop on by. For now I'd like know if there is any interest here at RCU.
I have posted a few pictures for those of you not familar with the Micro Magic. They are made in Germany by Graupner. The are offered in two different models standard and racing. The racing edition comes either in white or carbon fiber (finish) The come in kit form, and require the electronics. They are not really kid friendly to assemble, but with a little help from Dad, they make great family boats.
I like them for a number of reasons, one of which is their size. They are very easy to transport and need very little wind to sail successfully. I also like that fact that they can handle some very challanging weather as well.
Let me know your thoughts on these great boat.
