Default Pyewacket boat found in trash!

I found a "Pyewacketof st Onge" RC yacht hull and two sets of sails in the trash and was wondering if it is worth saving. Much of the original rigging and masts are attached but I have 0 knowledge of anything RC. None of the servos or batteries were inside but the hull is intact and the sails are not torn. Can anyone lead me in a good direction? I have not taken pictures but would gladly email them to anyone who is interested. I am pretty handy and can fix most anything but I can't find anything on the internet or pictures of this type of boat. Please help!

I just googled "pyewacket sailboat" and got 2920 results, but the first ten or twenty should give you plenty to look at.
How long is it, and how tall? Fin keel or full length? Wood, fibreglass or plastic(ABS) hull? The more details you give, the better we can help.
Well done for rescuing it.
A pic would be a great help.

Edward.

Ditto on dimensions and detials. Sounds like you made a good find. Any boat where the hull is in good shape has value.

Sorry for not posting earlier, I am in the Navy and when business calls...I hope this will help in the identification.  The boat is 50" long with the sail measuring 5 feet.  I have been doing extensive research on the internet and have narrowed it down to a Soling 50; however the stern and the hatch cover don't match those one design boats.  The hatch resembles a vintage Santa Barbara that I found in a picture but of course my boat is only 50".  The keel and rudder are my design and do not match the requirements for the Soling 50 (I think they turned out well though).  I have achieved the 17 lb weight of the Soling and I am now ready for her shake down cruise.  I decided her name should be Curb Appeal because that is where I originally found her in a heap of trash!

BTW.  The hull is all plastic  I have painted the entire exterior and changed the color from purple to red.  Before and after pics would have been great but once I started with the overhaul I didn't take time to do that.
