Default MM Gooseneck/Vang ofr RG65

Has anyone used a Micro Magic Gooseneck / Vang for a RG65. Would you have to use it inverted, or could it be turned upside down.

Thanks,

I've used it both ways. I prefer vang low, but it works well both ways.

Will it work well for an RG65? I'm building a Jif65.

Thanks,

My RG65 is a Blue Splash with a flat deck. When I first built it, I set it up with vang above the boom. When I made new sails, I put the vang below, and I like the look better. If you sail in stronger winds, using vang high will give an angle to the boom which could keep the boom from draging the water.
