Lightbulb Kyosho SeaWind - 1 meter racing sailboat

Hi there people

on my YT channel I had a returning question on info about my Kyosho SeaWind.. So, I set about making an info-video about it..
Mainly to just broaden people's horizons.. And hopefully have it be entertaining as well

Dear Dutch RC,

I enjoyed your video. What are your thoughts regarding the quality of construction of the ship. How's the paint job, etc...

Hello Eddie,

I love this boat It looks good (subject to personal taste offcourse). sails well.. Fit & finish are superb.. Nothing off the paint has chipped off / gotten damaged.

I'd recommend this boat..

Hello Dutch RC,
Well, that's good to hear. A few years ago, I purchased a carbon fiber Kyosho Seawind. It was 649.00 US Dollars. I couldn't believe how poorly it was constructed! A blind shipbuilder could have done a better job. The fit and finish were terrible! I couldn't believe it was being sold for that much. So I returned it. Anyhow, I am glad to hear that your model is good.
Take care my friend!

Howdy Eddie

wow.. I had not expected that from Kyosho :| There is allways the chance of getting a Monday-morning product, but I suspect Kyosho outsourced the production of that version..
But well.. I think the 'normal' version is a pretty safe bet
Contrary to the Fortune 612 III which I allso have.. That one was no good before upgrading the main- and 2nd sails boom..

Cheers and have a good weekend
Roeland
