Default victoria rigging question

Hey all,

I'm just trying to setup the rigging on the victoria, and I have a question about the jib boom. In the manual, it says it should be 1.5cm or 1/2 -3/4" above the deck. This seems pretty low, as in the pics in the manual it looks like its about about the same height as the other boom. How high should I set it, and does it have to be parallel with the deck?

Thanks alot,

Rob

I hung mine the same height as the main boom. Works good. I'm having trouble getting the radio box to stay glued. Going to try polyurethane.

The Jib boom ends up about the same height as the main boom if the sail is tied up all the way on the mast.
For the radiobox try some Goop after wiping the hull with alcohol.
My Victoria, not race legal but who cares:

Goop would have been my next try but polyurethane really stuck. I quickly got rid of the wheels and post on the stern as they got in the way of everything.
