New Sailboat looks bad
Hello Pals, I just bought a sailboat on ebay knowing nothing about them.I bought a Victor Model ...America3 ..I paid 60$ .It has no electrics ....what really pisses me off is the building instructions are so vague im going to have to rely on some pictures I can get on here to finish building it.. Does anyone have a link to some nice pics of how to rig the sails with the servo. I already got the rudder functional but from what I saw just a second ago on here I put the servo linkage to it wrong .but it works ..I just epoxied the servo to the bottom of the hull and used a short link rod and it seems to work fine.BUT the sail servo baffles me so any help is needed...I will let you guys know my outcome and Thanks Paul

Hi, have you tried to contact Victor and ask for instructions?

Paul, possibly your best help for this situation might be from Victor themselves. If you give them a call or email, I think they'll try to help you. From what I've read, they are a stand-up company.

George Dornis of Victor Models is a very nice guy. Email them and he will probably straighten out the instructions problem. I have built 8 VMP kits and found the instructions quite adequate.
