Going to purchase a Victor Products "America3"...Price seems right and it looks like a boat that could be
tweeked to make an interesting One Meter..Thoughts? Thanks

Hi Beamer,

If by One Meter you mean to compete with an IOM, I'd get an IOM.

Otherwise it looks like a very nice boat, just the keel looks a bit short to me, my Voyager has nearly twice the fin length...
As a result of this she is very 'stiff'and can handle a lot of wind.

All depends on the local conditions you sail in, mine are usual rather windy.

I'd compare the two and draw your own conclusions, regarding the keellength.

Knowing the Voyager up close (and having upgraded her a lot), I'd guess the Victor America 3 is the better constructed boat.
