I second Idealist view
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3D_7...eature=related
and
my favorite
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZDS3...eature=related

I started sailing RC boat contrary to most not in IOM or M or 10R but mini40 20 years ago and though I race IOM and race monohulls I haven't stopped loving Trimarans... quite simply the best !!!

Hi Gary,
what a nice surprise!

Have you done a circumnavigation to get your milk and bread?

It´s been quite a while since I heard anything of you...

Cheers,
Ernst

Hi Ernst,

Nice to hear from you, lifes been busy mate..yes have done several circumnavs in last few years but this time all by plane so not so many dreamwakes sorry to report.

This forum seems to be really slow ..i have not been on it for a very long time ( or any Rc forum actually)..where did everyone go?.

NB..to all those who contacted me for assistance with multi's in the last few years and there has been quite a few of you out there...i most humbly apologise for not being in a position to assist..however, things are now about to move again in my workshop.

Cheers

Gary

Hi Gary,
several times around the globe?
Fascinating!

Are you some kind of pilot by profession - or what?

So when do you expect to restart your trimaran project?

Cheers,
Ernst

Not pilot this time mate...more like crash test dummy...spent a bit of time up your way actually...a bit cold for my liking but did enjoy Basel.

Multi Restart soon...just cleared my workshop of final big project (for next few months anyway) .. a carbon/kevlar bonnet for mates rally car...experimented on this one and did something i have not seen before over carbon twill... red metal flake under 5 coats of clear spray epoxy ..looks fantastic sorry though the pics don't really do it justice.
