Default a little dressing up?

I recently purchased a Dumas Star 45, not my first boat of choice but it was a good deal. It's my 6th boat, but 1st sailboat. I plan on repainting it, but I was wondering about adding some wood to the deck, possibly small wood rub rail. I know people have done it before but I can't find any photos now. I'm attaching a Google pic to give an idea. I'd like some advice on how to best simulate the teak, or where to get the material. Hopefully there is a step by step webpage out there.

Thanks

Default RE: a little dressing up?

check out Vinces Newport 12 build here in sailbpats, pics of different decks. Careful with weight though, sailboats like weight down deep not above deck.
