Default RE: New to sail boats

How big a boat?
Auxiliary power is an option on the Robbe Atlantis, but this is a big, expensive kit in anybody's consideration.
Graupner do a folding blade prop outfit, and there are plenty of semi scale and scale kits out there that will convert. If you do a search for "Bristol Channel Pilot Cutter" there should be some examples of kits of a prototype that was converted to auxiliary power, and, done properly, is a very good sailer.
