Newbe rigging question
Hi,
i have opted to use stainless steel shroud instead of the string supplied in the kit. How do i attach the end that was supposed to start with a figure eight knot on the mast rigging?(see pic)

If you can slide the wire into the mast, and all of the way out of the top, you can crimp the end with a sleeve, and the sleeve can then slide back down inside the mast, till it binds inside the hole. Some people attach the shrouds to the mast head fitting, so they run inside the mast all the way to the top.
