RE: What happened to the Scale Forum???
Moderators: The file upload is still broken, despite the fact that I see some new threads with a few new photos. [] I'm still getting the "SERVER PROBLEM" when I try to upload photos (using Firefox on a Mac) in my CI thread. Strangely, though I'm able to upload a photo here using the "upload more photos" in edit mode.
On the plus side, I see all the PM, email, etc. buttons have returned.

I was able to upload just one photo as a test about an hour ago and then never again. I can't upload in a new post or an old post. Looks like this is going to take some time to solve. Guess, I just need to come back next week.

When my computer starts messing up ,being a old carpenter.I go grab the bigest framing hammer i can find and bash its brains out. I does not fix it but it makes me feel good. I have done this 2 times no calling any one to fix it ,no sending it out ,just pure fun. [>:] joe

It's taking forever to move around. It's not my computer or cable. Other sites work just fine. Guess if it ain't broke maybe you shouldn't try to fix it!

Oh no, so is not only me. RCU is my new addiction, If I m not flying or working Im here. I missed it very very much.
Lets give the administrators some time to fix it. I imagine it is a hughe server and bugs are not an easy fix.
Just inagine our lives without RCU[X(]

RE: What happened to the Scale Forum???
The photo display applet is still not right!
Normal, the site generates thumbnails and then "plays" the photos in a Java applet. You can see the full-size imagine (at whatever size was uploaded by the user) by clicking on the enlarge button in the lower right of the photo. At the moment, the first photo seems to get a thumbnail and then the others are displayed full size.
By the way, people, it's still a good idea to reduce the original photo's size before posting. Posting photos right out of the camera will result is long wait times for viewers and for users with slower connections might mean that they just won't bother clicking on your photos. I resize photos to 1000px wide before posting. Note: This is still too large for RCSB so if I want to post a photo there too, I need to reduce it even further using Photoshop's "Save for Web" feature. I do occasionally post a larger photo when I think the content of that photo is really worth scrutinizing closely.
