RE: Hall Springfield Bulldog build
Well I've given up on finding a good set of Don Neill plans for this plane. I've been following a couple of different builds on other websites and all say that the plane flies better than one would expect. it's a shame that finding workable plans is like finding Hens Teeth.

RE: Hall Springfield Bulldog build
Johnboy,
Have you tried contacting Donnyman here on RCU. Last I heard he had a set he was willing to sell. Send him a PM. He's a contributor to this thread and has built one. I think he still has that for sale too...
I also previously posted Gary Neill's address in a prior post. Gary is Don's son, that's where I bought mine but it's been several years ago.

RE: Hall Springfield Bulldog build
Good evening,
Don's plans are now available thru his son Gary. Just picked up a disc for both the Hall Bulldog and the Wedell-Williams racer. Gary has a site on Facebook, and he lives in Lincoln, Nebraska. Sad to say that there are fiberglass parts are not also available at this time from Gary. Hope this info helps start a few more Bulldog builds!
Cheers,
Jeff

Looks awesome Thombe. For those who may be wondering, I didn't make much headway on my project over the past winter and almost nothing happens during flying weather. I've had a couple other smaller projects sneek in but I will be back on the Bulldog full force when the weather turns cold again!

I recently purchased a new set of 1/4 scale plans from LZRC in New Zealand, nicely drawn and good detail, I'll need to clear my building board before I tackle this beast. After taking a look at all those ribs I think I might invest in a laser cut kit.

Just PMed Donnyman last night about his plans. Darn and I just read through this thread and saw Johnboy151a's statement that Donny's plans where incomplete. So now I go over to Facebook and find a Gary Neill in Lincoln, Nebraska and sent him a message a few minutes ago asking him if he is Don Neill's son and if he would sell a set of plans.
I sure hope this pans out! I have been looking for some decent plans for this plane for a year now!
I don't need paper plans. I have a 36" wide format printer so all I need are an electronic copy! May the RC Gods be with me this time and help me find a set
Nice looking build so far Bigphil! It's strating to get cold out so hopefully we'll get to see some progress this building season!

Gary Neill's phone number is posted back in about post 14 of this thread... I'm hoping to get back on this project as the weather deteriorates around here. Gotta get it finished up and in the air!

Hello
I don't think Gary neil is selling plans but you should at least try, If I had the means I would digitize them for everyone.
what I do have is in a mailing tube and I haven't looked at them for some time now so I am not sure of their status but it would be strange for me to have a incomplete set of plans of something I have built. I will get back to ya! hard copies ain't cheap.
