Default RE: WW-I Instrument faceplates

I Think Vertical is running into the same problem as I did. The bezels available on the market right now are very basic and mostly non scale. They just don't look right in a full scale cockpit. But if you don't bother too much they are just fine.

But thats why I started to make my own

And making them in batch is just too much work for me right now. Too much time involved. For example: The Otto Bohne Hohemesser I just did cost me about 3 hours to make............. And when selling I can not ask profit for three hours, way out of range in comparison to the delivered meters. But maybe when someone with CNC possibilities hop in....................

I have the Iflytailies instruments, I just did not see a bezel in the package. Have not opened it yet. Maybe it were those black things in there. I would like them to be brass. Maybe I can airbrush them to look right.

Your instrument work is incredible! Would you consider doing a 1/2 scale Bohne Hohenmesser for my Triplane project?

As a "quickbuild" - http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...le+nieuport+17 I need to update it as it has been a while. I didn't do much on it for months after the Aviatik went in.
