Default Cessna C140

Hello,
I am just looking for a large (1/4 scale and up) kit, plans, or even a good source to get 3-views from for a 1946-1947 140. I just flew one for a long weekend, and loved every second.

Thank you.

Say, if you can locate plans from Bob Swietzer he has a beautiful 1/4 scale set of plans. I helped my buddy get started in RC about 15 years ago and he built that airplane for his second aircraft, his first was a 1/4 scale cub! Easy to build and a good flyer, sorry to say that he was shot down though.

There was a 1/4 scale plan presented in R/C Modeler magazine. The plan was done by Burnis Fields and there are at least four large sheets. I dont know what issue it was in as the date is not on the page corners but it was plan # 1123 and I do have the magazine article and plans as presented in the magazine. They claim it's a 1946 aircraft and I have a soft spot for it as that's the year I was born and have flown in one as a teenager. I believe RCM plans are still available but I cant tell you where though someone here may be able to. I can copy the article for you if you get the plans and want it. Regards

It's the August 1992 issue of RCM and the plan no is 1123.

RCM plans still seem to be going even though the magazine is no more.
