It's a long time since the last update here,

I am now covering my E.III so the last photos of her were the ones last year at the Dutch Dawn Patrol:

No, Teus, this thread is only for model aircraft. No fair posting a colorized photo of a real EIII taken in 1915!

I found that time machine you was looking for Don, but forgot to ask the guys there how they did the swirls.

Thanks,

Very sweet little model! It's rare to see a small model with so much detailed structure.

Thanks, Probably rare because any one who would think of doing something that small is not allowed to have access to any sharp tools at the facility! That snipe looks like it would be real light. I am impressed with this thread. What a great idea!

It's bare bones but the beauty is in the eye of the beholder! It is a 1/4 scale 1922 version of the 1921 sailplane, Vampyr. The ailerons are the 'warping' variety and they function on this model. The rudder is pull-pull and the stabilator is mass balanced. The build is on RCAerotowing.com.

ARUP, I can't open the attachment...and I want to see that Vampyr.

Great thread, wonderful photos, and really great to see your Snipe once again, Abu.
