Default Vailly 1/4 scale L-5

I am building this model and I am trying to figure out a different manner to mount the tail wheel in this bird. Any suggestions would be helpful. This is what the plans show, but wa wanting a different method closer to scale.

Looks like the tail wheel is too far forward. Not sure why Roy did that?
Look at some L5 images (google) and you'll see it extends back about half way of the rudder or more.
Maybe the plane that the plans represent had a forward tail wheel?

ID:	2233562Looks to have a strut hinged probably off the lower longerons or a cross tube with a oleo strut hinged at the lower aft end of the t/w strut with its upper end tied into the structure above the same station as the t/w strut. Tail wheel seems to be at or slightly forward of rudder hinge line.
