Default Sterling Stearman PT-17 -- OS GF30 30cc

What do you guys think about putting the OS GF30 in a Sterling Stearman PT-17?

That model was designed for a .60 two stroke, glow. Many used .90 fourstrokes, in glow. Your proposed engine is far too large to use in this model.

If you can find one, I would suggest the Great Planes Super Stearman.

Tom,

Thank you!

You just saved me $700.00

I'd like to use a 4 cycle gasser in my Stearman, if one exists. For sound and clean up.

Any recommendations?

Mike

If you want a 4 cycle in a Sterling Stearman, I'd go with a ,91, 4 stroke, in glow. To my knowledge, there are no 4 stroke gassers in your required size.
