That's an interesting photo. You know it never occurred to me that it might snow on carriers.

Few More, a guy sent me these, sez 70 years old, were put away for years. Italian squadron, Spitfire tipping the German rocket with wingtip, daylight only, and the Hellcat, That has to be WWII.

It's interesting to see that the planes are fitted with only one drop tank not two. You would think to balance the load, they would use two. When fully filled it would be a lot of weight just on one wing.
