Hostetler Curtiss P-6E
I picked up a Hostetler P6E today for $100.00! Ihad looked around and bought and sold a KMPSpitfire making 75.00 on it LOL so that gave me the extra cash Ineeded to buy the P6E and a 50CC engine with the RCExcel ignition. completely framed out and with Fiberglass Cowl and Wheel pants. Needless to say it is being finished in the Selfridge field paint scheme with the white snow owl and the eagle claws on the wheel pants! Ican't wait to finish it! This is going to be cool!!! This one may be finished before my Gee Bee!
I'll get some photos ASAP!

No wife to worry about! hehehe At any rate, Finally cleaned and cleared the bench so Ican get started on the P6E project, Photos ASAP!
(Had to finish setting up a Pica WACOYMF-5 that was given to me in a UPF-7 Military paint scheme. not the best or nicest built airplane but cool nevertheless)

I have the wheel pants and the cowl, the windshield I'll make myself, but Ineed a source for the fairings.
Thanks!

Wow
100.00 bucks, are kidding me? What a deal! I've always loved this plane along with the PT -17. Good luck on the finish, should be fun. Keep us posted.

Here ya go, Iwill be getting going on this next week now that I'm done with the two sport ships I've set up. I've shaped and sanded th ailerons and tail feathers and have sanded the fuselage in prep for cover. Next move is to hinge the ailerons, and fab up the interplane struts and mounts. v I'm including a pic of the diversion airplanes too LOL
