Can anyone suggest a good B-17 reference book

Can anyone suggest a good B-17 book?I’m close to starting a B-17F and need decent references, but I’d like to consider making it a B-17G.In either case I need a book(s) with color pics, contour and panel line details.
    Thanks

    Hey Scratchie,

Another RCU member "Mike Emillio" build a DS B17 from his plans some years ago, he actually build 3 of the B-17Gs, I'd suggest you contact him under his name to seek reference materials that he used to build his model. Not sure what he used myself but worth a try...

I do believe in KISS (Keep it simple silly), but doesn\'\'t mean my models fall in this category!

Give Brookhurst Hobbies a call. I was just there a week ago for a Corsair book. They have a lot of selection on many planes.

http://www.brookhursthobbies.com/ or call and ask for Allen the manager. The website is full of books but its hard to navigate, not so much if you know the publisher.

Also get the ISBN number for the book you want and see if its on Amazon for cheaper.

AJ Press (Kagero) has a few titles.
    http://aj-press.home.pl/ml_ang.htm
There's ML-90 Boeing B-17 Part 1 and ML-91 Boeing B17 Part 2. While I don't have these titles, I have a number of books from them on the Corsair and ME262 and have found them to have good quality drawings that would make good documentation as well as reference. The books have a nice selection of mostly period photos and also include a selection of schemes.
