Gyro for Rudder
Can a gyro prevent ground looping? Anyone have the nerve to install one in a very expensive plane. If so please give advice the type purchased and how to connect. Thanks

RE: Gyro for Rudder
There is a huge Discussion Forum here on RCU, do a search you will come up with a ton of Info; I use a GYRO on all my Tail Dragging Warbirds, and it absolutely eliminates Ground Looping, I wouldn't take off without using my GYROs; Both Futaba and JR now make Gyros specifically for this purpose, here are the links:

Sorry for the repeat topic must of hit the enter key twice. My 1/3 scale triplane take off is fine it's the landing that shakes my nerves. I assume if gyro helps for take off the same is true for landing? Also I have a Spektrum receiver does futaba or JR connect?

RE: Gyro for Rudder
I'm using that JR G370 A gyro on my Specktrum AR-7000, and it works just fine on landings. I don't need it for takeoff.
Don't buy a cheap gyro, they can wipe you out.
