It is a bit different this year. The entry form needs to arrive in Muncie by July 10th. There are no late fees this year.
Come and join us, it is a great time.

Hey Fellas! The Scale Nats are just one week away! Wooooohooooo!

I have been working on a 1/3 scale Eindecker EIII designed by Larry Folk.......he is planning on kitting these planes........I am almost finished with mine..............
Larry is also almost finished with his........we are entering these in Fun Scale Open.

I am very much looking forward to this year's event. There is still time to enter.......10 July is the deadline.

Cheers,
Art

Hey Art,

You and Larry have a great time with those extra large Eindeckers. Our family beach vacation starts that weekend so I will be missing the NATs this year.

Hey Bob

Enjoy the Beach! But you know we will be having a better time at the Nats than you are going to have at the beach [X(]

Cheers,
Art

Hello Art,

You got that right. It is a family vacation with a capital "F".

Think National Lampoon’s "Vacation" but nowhere near as funny.

Thanks for the pictures Steve, it was good to see you this weekend. The weather was great, not a steam bath for a change and the wind was not bad at all. We have had some fierce cross winds in the past. All in all it was a great event. We will post the dates for next year as soon as the schedule is set.
Happy Birthday Art. Tell Rollie we said hello....

Hey Art, I got out of there before I could wish you a Happy Birthday. I really enjoyed the Eindecker...I know you still have a way to go yet but it looks and flies like a future Champion. I can also help you out with rivets and panel lines when you're ready...no rush.

Hey Jim

I enjoyed the weekend but had limited success. The Eindecker finished in 6th place in fun scale advanced and the Nieuport finished in 3rd place in Expert, Division II.

Thanks for asking.

Do any of you guys have a way to contact Hal Parenti? I have a question for him (or anyone else who may know) about the gear he used. I'm doing up drawings for a Fireball (at about 19%) and I would like to find gear that can pull up the 97.5 degrees needed. Thanks for any information you may have.

Leadtrumpet-

Contact Bruce Sanders at Century Jet Models. He customized a nose gear for my B-25 to my specifications at no additional cost. They also have electrics now as well.
