Good luck Robert on the "C"...had one done myself over the summer. The worst part was the prep. Good part was the sleep that you get while under! Last thing I remember before I went under was the nurse saying, we intoduce air into your colon so when you wake you will be very flatulent...oh great!
Errrr...
What the hell?
I have had more than one (last in November) and no one ever told me that and I have no recall of the after problem you guys are talking about. So who is blowing smoke? Or am I in a medical research town and the procedures are up to date and state of the art?

All done and glad it's over. Yea, the flatulent was plentiful, but did not take much to eliminate. I wish I had some of that stuff that made me sleep. I felt better waking up after that 45 minutes than I have in a long time. I will sit for a bit and then get back to the sewing.

Recovering from back surgery 3 weeks ago here, hopefully I can give up my cane for someone else. Who needs it???
Robert I am about 5 years away from the digit test/colonoscopy I hope. I think I will keep that one quiet when the time comes around this crowd.
Later!!

Funny you should mention that. One of my trips to the side porch for a smoke ,the wife (trying to be a comedian), responded to my "Half the wing is stitched" with did you remember that tape stuff this time. Oh FSS! SOB! DIATH! Yep, turns out I surely did. I pulled all the stitches back out, taped it, and called it a day. I will try it again tomorrow. Funny things is though, I started the stitching yesterday.

Yesterday wasn't anesthesia over hang.
It was milk of poopula under hang.
Both can be mind blowing as you well know.
Hope you got a clean bill of health.

No comment about the air fuel injection except you ought to be able to really rev it up now and get those stitches on so we can start seeing some paint, ha ha. "Really" will injoy seeing you paint it no matter how long it takes.

I wish you guys wouldn't talk like that. I'm coming due for my last one this year. After that, they figure I'm too old to make it "cost effective":-((((((((((((

The stitching has been removed, stitching tape applied, and the new stitching has been started. I am at a point where it feels like this build has begun to drag out and I'm sure a few of you feel the same. Stitching will be done today and pinking will be done tomorrow. I will be gone Thursday thru Sunday, but come Monday I will get things set up to begin spraying on Tuesday. For those that don't know or remember I am using the St-its process which is as follows, Poly brush with first coat brushed on, Poly spray, and then the colors of red, white, and blue.

You are getting there Robert. It will get finished and maiden flight accomplished. Looking forward to it.
Is your next build going to be this big or are going down size. I bet you are already thinking about what next.
Oh and glad everything came out OK in the ........ END ........... yesterday Robert

I have procrastinated long enough that there are no more details to do, a couple to fine tune, but nothing left to build.
Jim, you are absolutely correct on the fumes from Poly tone and I do have a real good dual carbon respirator.
rcmichael, to what are you looking for a photo of?

No need to explain about how long it's taking you Robert. I'm sure that I can speak for all of us following this thread that it has been a joy as well as informative following your progress on this build. It will be nice to see it in paint but I'm in no hurry for this journey to end...
