The top wing has been stitched as well as the fabric reinforcement strips. It is ready for some pinking.

Robert, you are really moving right along! You have done a great job of demystifying wing stitching for me. I think it is something I will want to try on a future project.

I have reinstalled the newly cut metal for the fuse panels, it all fits nicely. I can't get into the pinking until Friday when the wife goes to work, she really hates the smell. So tomorrow will be yard day.

WOW! After finishing the yards, yes two of them, got cleaned up and ready to sit down and enjoy everyone's daily progress. And unbeknownst to me, I am not the only one not building. Nothing, nadda, zip, zilgse. Where is every one?

Me, I've been working 11+ hour days. Really don't feel much like building, especially when it's 105 to 110 outside! It'll be cooler though for a short time... very short time!

I am working in a comfortable 77° room. And soon to be another 77° room to work in as well. Ahhhhhh! Life is good, now if I just had more time and money.

I have been wracking my brain over this paint scheme. The problem for me has been the thought that for every mask I have to spray a mask sealer and with multiple masking means multiple sealers meaning added weight. Tonight I had a brain fart as to how to do it with two fewer steps in the masking. More to come when I get to painting, as I will explain then. For now, having the time, I think before I start on the pinking I will go back and try to make the canopy again. I still have next week before my new room (paint booth) will be ready enough for me to use. More to come tomorrow.

I have been remodeling my vac box to be more suited to the pieces size. I also cut the windscreen from the canopy so they are smaller pieces as well. I am almost done and will be giving it another shot before moving on to another means.

Robert, I love the way you tackle some of these little problems I learn so much and get ideas on how to do things I never would have thought about.

The box now has an extended height and the element/ oven compartment has been extended as well. Looking to get a more even heat distribution across the surface of the plastic as well as getting it hotter overall. When I replugged the canopy I added some height to it and have some sand and fill to do on before attempting to vac.

Robert, do you have the ability to make a video of your vacuum forming when you make your piece?
