That would be great Cub Flyer, but I don`t understand how you figure "WE" have an "IN" now. I would not consider invading her privacy. Having been to that airshow about 7 times, I can tell you that there are not very many opps/if any. for photo opps.with a pilot....,as a person that has paid general admission,.... What-da-ya say, you tell me how "WE" have an "IN" now. I`d be interested in your "inside" connection...., details,..details...

What?!
Why, Robert of course! He's good friends with her now. Just mention his name and his (her) Pitts and... POW! We're in! Gotta love it!

I really don't feel that is a road you want to travel, or at least would hope not. Good humor is one thing but!

uncletwist, maybe your new nick can be uncle-dubie.
I've been to several airshow / drag car race events... there's noway anyone's getting past security just by mentioning someone's name, even if you could p*ss diamond rings, you wouldn't get in: they know all the tricks.
John M,

John, you busted me me with the first sentence......you`ve revealed your age...and you should be happy that you`ve made it this far,..not to many people would have that made the connection.
As for the last part of your comment, I think that`s what I implied in post # 3102

To do the amount of work required to make one for real flight in my opinion is a real love for the plane and paint scheme. So I was suggesting taking that love and build the EMHW kits bigger version. Once I am done with mine this thread will dry up unless someone does another build to carry it on.

As for the EMHW kit, I`ll have to look that up....Can`t say, I would`nt love to do a big build, I absolutely love aviation, but space is limited, maybe I should sell the Vette, before the wife gets it...that would open up some space..

I'm not surprised, it adds up quickly; model, radio gear, engine, etc ... I've got over 3k in my Sig 1/4 j3 cub and its not even close to being finished, and near 2k in a H9 1/4 super cub... what good is it anyways if you keep it in the bank, you get nothing in return from the banks for letting them use your money, so you might as well enjoy it while you can.
That 87% pitts python, is just over the top... I don't think it's ama or faa legal here in the states... 65hp engine, yeah that's a big boy alright.

Robert, I just got it ,......before I read your post, .........mind you,...I only did the Color scheme for this Realflight plane, While another user of Realflight created the model/plane,..I did, however create a model and color scheme for a plane in Realflight..the PZL-P1,..took about a year to do, but I got "ER" done. At 58 yrs. old, I was was pretty proud of myself, having only turned on a computer at the age of 55.

I'm 63... most people from that era probably don't have many brain cells left to make the connection, lol
