The current doors are 30" and I am replacing then with 34". The one for my room is a 32" which will replace, uh, the wall. We had talked and decided to enlarge the front door if nothing else so we could get furniture in easier but it was suppose to be down the road. But with markdowns like that the down the road came quick.
Seriously, pictures of the MH??

He's on the PC most every day. Skype shows me when he goes online.
My guess is that he's turning his house into a palace. Nothing wrong with making a house a comfortable place to be.

LOL! Nice to know I'm missed. After doing much work actually had a minute to take the wing outside and give it a good going over, visually. I am not happy with it, it appears the clear was harder than the paint and the sanding process left very minute lines visible at the right angle. I am going to do another redo on the top wing's top, remove covering and repaint, (yes!) again. I have worked out the kinks with the vinyl and such so the next time should be the cats meow. So, I am taking a long break on the Pitts and getting some work done on the MH. My room has had the knockdown applied and primed, and the door is in as well, need to do a little trim work before painting. By the end of next week I should be able to start installing the shop stuff and unload all the tools and stuff from the toy hauler. That will also make assembly a bit easier, having tools that is. So I figure I will get back to the Pitts in another couple weeks.

Ok folk's, here is where I am at, funds will be restricting me for a couple weeks, a got to stay on budget thing. So I am pressing on in a different way. I had several piece cans of white so I mixed them all together and painted the walls. It came out well enough for the room it is but there was more primer than paint and it took two coats. I still have trim to install, the ceiling with the trim to paint, the lighting, outlets and switches, and the floor but it will have to wait. Anyway, I will let the paint dry for a couple hours and then start bringing my stuff in. I can't get it totally set up but good enough to carry on with the build some. When the supplies come in I will resume on the top wing. In the meantime I have a few things that can be finished up. I also have to rebuild the tailwheel wire, when moving it out of the room for paint I noticed the down shaft had bent over. Probably weakened the piano wire when I brazed it together, won't get it so hot next time. The canopy is still MIA, but being worked on I'm told. Anyhow, off I go..

Man! What a pain. Pegboard has been installed and everything unpacked and hung up, not neatly but up. Tomorrow I will organize it all a bit better but for now I'm tired and calling it quits. After organizing I'll start sorting out the Pitts stuff and make a plan of attack. We'll see after that.

Exactly on the box and no way on the floor. I can't stand a bare plywood floor, reminds me of my childhood and just how poor we were. The wife and I worked very hard to get out of that time/place and need no reminder of such.

I know most if not all of you following along do not know the guy that supplied the vinyl for me but this post is for him anyways.
Rob, thank you very much for being such a great guy. This attempt at vinyl would have cost a small fortune if not for you!
Rob is the gentleman in Canada that has supplied me with the vinyl for masking this Pitts. All the templates/masking has been spot on and have made a world of difference in what was required to do this scheme. And to add to his generosity he has supplied them to me three times and is sending me one last set for the top wing.
Again Rob, thank you!

I have used Callie graphics also in the past. She made the graphic in my Avitar from an old B&W photo of my mom from the 40's back when she was an aircraft inspector at the ripe old age of 19 http://www.callie-graphics.com/

You know, I've used both of them and they are both good!
