First off glad to hear your gonna live, that means more planes for you to build and more planes for us to watch you build.
Second, I wish you lived closer because I have one, that being said you might try calling your local High Schools (talk to the librarian or IT person), since they are sometimes trying to get rid of such low tech stuff all the time. I know my school was getting rid of several just a few weeks ago...

The windscreen frame has been semi trimmed and drilled. The opening has been taped by the laser as well as the rear 1/2" overlap being taped. I will trim the rear then glass both sections on the top, once that's cured I will glass the underside. The reason for glassing both side's are that the joint has a double sided frame with the bottom underlapping into the windscreen. The rear is flush with the top carrying under the canopy.

Hey Robert, the canopy is looking good. Nice and clear. I hope you put some back lighting in the cockpit dash. It's worth it...trust me. I did it to one of my scale helis and it turned out awesome and everyone loved it. Also, I sent you a PM. Jeff

The inside of the canopy has been glassed up for the frame. These one inch glassing strips are what I will cut the inner and outer frame's from. Then I will remount the canopy and make the sliding rail mounts, which only consist of bending the aluminum to the correct size and shape.
